Brian graduated from the University of Hartford in 2000 and began his initial work in a traditional outpatient setting.  Even in the initial years of practicing he observed a need for in home therapy.  As years passed, Brian sought out home care under its traditional setting of Medicare Part A, but soon realized the needs beyond that level of care.  Patients still needed care after getting discharged but it wasn't offered to the homes.  After discussions with a colleague about the option for Medicare Part B to be the answer for improved function of a population, the principals of coastal were established.  Soon after, the partnership with Gregg Taylor OT, a fellow clinician, to create the interdisciplinary team was created and we continue to build upon our practice.
