Liz Plumeri, OTR/L
Liz joined Coastal Home Rehab in 2021 as an occupational therapist. Liz earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Occupation and Health and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Thomas Jefferson University in Center City Philadelphia in 2021.
Throughout her clinical experience in graduate school, Liz has worked with the adult and older adult population in home care, acute care, and community mental health settings. Her areas of interest include neurological, neurodegenerative, musculoskeletal, cerebellar, and mental health conditions. Liz possesses a strong passion for the geriatric population and aims to promote productive aging in the home setting to promote quality of life, occupational independence, safety, and self-efficacy among her patients. Liz believes that empathy and compassion are the most valuable aspects of building therapeutic relationships with her patients and ensuring a comfortable treatment environment. She also believes that science-driven, client-centered treatment plans are the core to delivering effective, valuable therapy services.
In her free time, Liz enjoys working out, binging her favorite HBO shows, exploring new restaurants, spending time with friends and family, and traveling!
